Rick Dorn

PASSIONATE, SOULFUL, THE HEART OF WORSHIP From So. Cal, his sound is already drawing comparisons to the great legends of Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. His love for the Lord shows in his writing, singing, and arranging vocal harmonies.

Rick is a graduate of Los Angeles Film and Recording School, where he majored in recording and film. He owned and operated Phatt Trax of LA Recording Studio, where he recorded, mixed, sand, and engineered many projects, sunch as T-Bone, and others.

Rick has worked with many artists and record labels for studio work as a vocal arranger and vocal instructor. Rick is one of the worship leaders at his home church in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, where during multiple weekend services, he may minister in song and lead worship in front of over 10,000 people. Rick has sung and acted in stage plays, For His Glory and For His Glory 2.

Rick opened up for may artists, such as Karen Clark, Fred Hammond, Commissioned, Shirley Caesar, Be Be and Ce Ce Winans, and Marvin Winans. Rick has ministered in song at City of Refuge Church, where Bishop Noel Jones is the pastor. Rick is currently leading worship at many churches throughout California. Rick’s New album, ADORNHIN vol1, has Rick singing with some of the best musicians in the industry: Lead guitar, Darrel Crooks, who featured on projects with Be Be Winans, Will Downing, James Fortune, Regina Bell, and many others. On bass, Seko Bunchwhoe featured with Michael Jackson, Howard Hewett, and Lalah Hathaway. On keyboard, Lew Lian, featured with Boys2Men and Paul Brown.
